In 2012, I had the pleasure of spending weeks with Antonio in the Chilean desert, helping a mining company better understand the needs of local stakeholders and thinking of a new community development strategy. This turned out to be a tricky project – with local political issues, divergent interests of the actors, well connected activist groups and sometimes anxious mining company. I was so impressed by Antonio’s ability to easyly move and with no struggle deal with this scenario. Your empathy in understanding different needs; his ability to communicate and understand all these aspects were important to manage the company and the stakeholders. I learned a lot from the company, from the community and especially from Antonio! I hope we have the opportunity to work together again in the not too distant future!
